Asian BBQ Sauce

BBQ with an Asian Influence

The addition of hoisin ginger gives this sauce an asian-inspired taste. Think habachi grill here for uses - pork and chicken.
Also, you can give this sauce a try in your next stir fry.


Asian Barbeque Sauce

Ingredients (1.75 Cups)

1 Cup - Hoisin Sauce (available in the Asian part of your grocery)
1/2 Cup - Rice Wine Vinegar
1/4 Cup - Soy Sauce
1 TBSP - Sesame Seeds (toasted or not)
2 TBSP - Dijon Mustard
2 tsp - FRESH minced ginger root (fresh is definitely worth it with ginger)
2 cloves - Garlic (minced)
2 - Green Onions (minced very fine)
*optional*
If you like hot - try a little wasabi or hot asian style mustard to taste

Directions

Mix ingredients and bring to a simmer in a saucepan
Reduce heat to low and cook 10 minutes or more to a medium thickness.
